Covering with Fondant two ways
Learn the fundamental skills of covering a cake in fondant, 2 different ways.
Covering a cake with fondant can be tricky. In this class, Sam will teach you how to ganache and cover a short 6 inch cake in the traditional method, and a tall 5 inch cake in the wrap method. Master the art of covering cakes in 2 different methods. The traditional covering technique, and the more modern, panel technique.
Please note that balls are not edible and are already made. Students will make some donut and ice cream decorations out of fondant, however majority will be premade to save time.
Students will cover 1 edible cake, and 1 dummy cake.
A must for any cakie wanting to expand their skill set into the world of fondant cakes.
All tools, icing, etc are supplied — just bring yourself and your creativity.
